So, I had a friend ask me if I thought that the main character in Coyote Ugly, Piper Perabo, had used her real name. Interesting question. Anyone know the answer? The answer is Yes. Her birth given name is Piper Lisa Perabo. So, I started wondering, what other celebrities kept their real names, and which ones changed them? When his mother remarried, they changed his name to Gerald Rudolff Ford, Jr., although he was never legally adopted. He legally changed his name in 1935.
